Makeup Artist Portfolio
To obtain industry bookings, a makeup artist must present a professional portfolio during an interview with an agency, potential client, or other decision maker. Students collaborate with our photographer to produce an array of media looks. High Definition Monitors in the studio allow artists to see their makeup through the "eye of the camera" and make any adjustments in the makeup, hair, wardrobe or lighting before the start of the shoot. After graduating, students are encouraged to continue "testing" with photographers, hair stylists , and other makeup artists. Building a portfolio is a lifelong activity always reflecting an artist's evolution.
