Course Description

Permanent Cosmetics has become the leading trend in the beauty industry. Women all over the world are choosing permanent eyeliner, eyebrows, lipliner and lip color. Professional women, athletes, those with poor eyesight or unsteady hands, those with sensitivities to traditional cosmetics and those whose work precludes wearing makeup are all fans. Properly applied Permanent Cosmetics are so natural looking, no one knows. This training includes the following procedures: Shaded Eye Brow, Digital Micro-Blading, Defined Eye Liner, Eye Liner Enhancement.

Course Objectives
After completing this program, you should be able to:
  • Implement proper sanitation and sterilizations procedures for the procedure room;
  • Understand state laws and regulations as they apply to permanent makeup;
  • Properly match pigment colors to the client’s skin tones;
  • Choose the proper needles for the procedure and properly handle the permanent-make-up machine;
  • Properly select the types of products to use/ apply both before and after administering a procedure;
  • Recognize contra-indications for services and respond to the potential client accordingly;
  • Implement the proper precautions to follow before, during and after administering a service; and
  • Artistically design, and apply, the appropriate (a) eyebrows for various facial shapes; (b) eyeliner for each particular eye shape

    About Your Instructor

    Joann Faas has over 25 years in the beauty industry and is licensed as an esthetician in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. She has 15 years of specialized clinical esthetics experience. She is a National Educator and a 9-year certified trainer for the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professional (S.P.C.P.). She is also an active member of both the National Coalition of Estheticians and the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals.
