Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

Satisfactory Academic Progress

All students are expected to maintain specific standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). SAP is based on qualitative standard (75% grade point average) and quantitative standard (90% attendance). SAP is evaluated continuously. Performance is assessed by class work, homework, practice sessions, projects, participation, professional disposition and all practical and written exams. In order to pass, a student must maintain SAP. Students below SAP at the end of any evaluation period receive a Satisfactory Academic Warning. If allowed to continue, the deficiency must be corrected by the next evaluation point.
